Controls in detail Driving systems The following vehicle level settings can be selected when the vehicle is stationary: Level Normal Raised For driving on normal roads. The indicator lamp is off. For driving on rough roads or with snow chains. The indicator lamp is on. 1 Vehicle level control switch 2 Indicator lamp X Suspension tuning The suspension tuning is set according to: Ryour Rroad Rthe driving style surface conditions choice of suspension style vehicle loading Ryour Select the "Raised" level setting only when required by current driving conditions. Otherwise the fuel consumption may increase and/or the handling may be impaired. The program mode selector switch (C/S) (Y page 340) or (S/C/M) (Y page 340) is used to adjust the suspension tuning. Driving program C Comfort S Sport M Manual X X Suspension tuning comfortable (default setting) sporty for dynamic driving Start the engine. i The selected vehicle level setting remains stored in memory, even when the engine is turned off and restarted. Selecting a higher level If indicator lamp 2 is off: X Press switch 1. Indicator lamp 2 comes on. The vehicle is raised to a higher level. Selecting a normal level If indicator lamp 2 is on: X Start the engine. Select the desired driving program. Press switch 1. Indicator lamp 2 goes out. The vehicle is adjusted to a normal level. Z 365
