Off-the-Shelf Backup Solutions for the Snap Server 6 Close the SSH client and return to the Administration Tool, then do the following: a To disable SSH on the Snap Server, navigate to the System > SSH screen, clear the Enable SSH checkbox, then click OK. SSH is immediately disabled. b To start the newly installed backup agent, navigate to the Maintenance > Shutdown/Restart screen, and click Restart. 7 Delete the agent files you copied to the Snap Server because they are no longer needed. 8 To verify the success of the installation, use your backup management software to configure and run a test backup. Uninstall CA ARCserve Agent 1 If you still have the tar or install directory that you copied to the Snap Server when you installed the ARCserve Agent, then you have the uninstall script. If you do not have the directory or tar, copy the files again from the ARCserve CD or get them from Computer Associates. 2 Make sure you have the script uninstall. Type the following and follow the prompts: ./uninstall Note Choose Option 1 to uninstall. 3 Uninstall the license rpm by typing the following: rpm -e ca-lic 4 Verify that CA ARCserve Agent has been uninstalled by typing the following and verifying that you do not see the agents: rpm -qa | grep BAB Appendix A Backup and Replication Solutions 139
