Take Apart Hard Drive - 44 2. Holding on to the hard drive carrier, push the carrier back to free the carrier from the chassis. Note: Pushing the carrier back releases two metal tabs on the underside of the hard drive carrier. Refer to "Hard Drive Carrier Replacement" for photo and information. 3. Lift the hard drive carrier from the chassis.
