Thread the machine to the needle bar thread a guide, as described in steps a through k of "Threading the upper thread", and then lower the presser foot lever. Turn off the sewing machine. b a a 5 cm (2 inches) CAUTION ● Be sure to turn off the sewing machine, otherwise injuries may occur if the start/stop button is accidentally pressed and the machine starts sewing.
