Recording Images on AV Equipment If you want to record using AV equipment, connect the RE-455X to the AV equipment using a commercially available video cable. For operating details for the equipment being used, refer to the instruction manual that came with the equipment. AV equipment (DVD recorder, VCR, etc.) To VIDEO IN terminal Video cable Rear panel RGB OUT VIDEO OUT S VIDEO OUT RS-232C NOTICE Check if your RE-455X model is uses NTSC or PAL format, and use an AV equipment compatible with the appropriate format. When you use AV equipment with a S-video outlet, use a S-video cable to connect to the S-video outlet. This will enable you to project high-quality images. Transferring Images to Computers (Image Input) If you want to transfer images from the RE-455X to a computer, you can do so by simply using a video cable to connect the unit to an AV-capable computer. If your computer is not AV-capable, a video capture board is required to convert the video signal (analog signal) to a digital signal suitable for a computer.
