Recording Images on AV Equipment If you want to record using AV equipment, connect the RE-455X to the AV equipment using a commercially available video cable. For operating details for the equipment being used, refer to the instruction manual that came with the equipment. When you use AV equipment with a S-video outlet, use a S-video cable to connect to the S-video outlet. This will enable you to project high-quality images. Transferring Images to Computers (Image Input) If you want to transfer images from the RE-455X to a computer, you can do so by simply using a video cable to connect the unit to an AV-capable computer. If your computer is not AV-capable, a video capture board is required to convert the video signal (analog signal) to a digital signal suitable for a computer.
