BJC-50 3.4 Self Test Print Part 3: Operating Instructions The printer has the "off-line" self test function which can be executed without connection to a computer. This section explains how to execute the off-line self test. While the printer is off line, hold down the POWER button until the beeper sounds the specified number of times listed below, then press the RESUME button to start the offline test print through the manual feeder. The test print number corresponds to the number of beeper sounds. Test print data is designed to be printed on A4-sized sheets, so if any paper whose width is less than the A4-sized paper width is used, the platen in the printer base unit may be stained with ink. To stop the test pattern printing, press the POWER button. When the POWER button is pressed, the printed paper is discharged, the printer turns off. 3-17

line test print through the manual feeder.

Do not use any paper whose width is less than the A4-size paper width
when executing a print test.
