Operating Instructions for Each Function The operation of each function on the toolbar is explained. Examples of the Easy Scan in the On and Off state are both provided. Easy Scan: off Fax This function sends scanned images as fax attachments. Easy Scan: on • To use this function, a fax driver and fax modem available on the market is required. Since the default setting for this function at installation is your default printer driver, you must link the fax driver to this function using ScanGear Toolbox's link button. (p. 29) • This function cannot be used to scan films. Easy Scan Off 1. Click the (Fax) icon. 2. The Scan Settings dialog will display (p. 12). • Check the settings, make any required changes and click the [OK] button. 3. The fax driver dialog will display. Fax
This function sends scanned images as fax attachments.
• To use this function, a fax driver and fax modem available on the market is required.
Since the default setting for this function at installation is your default printer driver, you

Easy Scan Off
1.
Click the
(Fax) icon.
