Precautions for Handling Toner Cartridges Please use caution when handling the toner cartridges. Careless handling can damage delicate mechanical parts or cause deterioration of the print quality. Please read the following notices before installing or removing the toner cartridges. WARNING Do not burn or throw used toner cartridges into open flames, as this may cause the toner remaining inside the cartridges to ignite resulting in burns or a fire. CAUTION If toner gets onto your hands or clothing, wash it off immediately with cold water. Do not use warm water as this may set the toner permanently, and you may not be able to remove the toner stains. IMPORTANT • If a toner cartridge is removed from the machine during maintenance, attach the protective cover immediately and place it in the protective bag that it came in or wrap it with a thick cloth.
