Creating the Settings File Saving the Settings to the Memory Card You must now save the settings file to a memory card. Have a memory card on hand to save data. 1 Select [File] / [Save]. a The Save dialog box will appear. 1 2 Click the [Save] button. ¡ Select the drive where the memory card is inserted, then open the memory card (in the root directory) and save the file to the memory card. ¡ The [nprofile.nif] file name cannot be changed. ¡ To load the settings file into the camera, see page 27. Save the settings file to the root directory of the memory card. If the settings file is nested inside another folder, the camera will not be able to read it. By selecting [File] / [Open], the communications setting file saved in the memory card or hard disk can be read. 17
