Responding to Error Messages 22: No response from DNS server What to check on the camera zz On the camera, does the DNS server's IP address setting match the server's actual address? ggSet the IP address to [Manual setting]. Then, on the camera, set the IP address that matches the address of the DNS server used (=514, =518). What to check on the DNS server zz Is the power of the DNS server on? ggTurn on the DNS server. zz Are the DNS server settings for IP addresses and the corresponding names correct? ggOn the DNS server, make sure IP addresses and the corresponding names are entered correctly. zz Is the DNS server working correctly? ggCheck the DNS server settings to make sure it is working correctly as a DNS server. ggIf applicable, ask your network administrator to ensure the DNS server is available. What to check on the network as a whole zz Does the network that you are trying to connect to via Wi-Fi include a router or similar device that serves as a gateway? ggIf applicable, ask your network administrator for the network gateway address and enter it on the camera (=514, =518). ggMake sure that the gateway address setting is correctly entered on all network devices including the camera. 503
