z You cannot record or playback sound memos for images that already have an incompatible sound file attached. If you attempt to record or play such images, the "Incompatible WAVE format" message will display. Incompatible sound files can be deleted with this camera. z Sound memos for protected images cannot be erased (p. 121). The volume can be adjusted in the Set up menu (p. 79). If you set [Mute] to [On] in the Set up menu, no sound is reproduced, however, you can resume the sound and adjust the volume by pressing the S or T button. Sound-Only Recording (Sound Recorder) You can record sound only, without images, for up to two hours at one time. 1 Select [Sound Recorder] from the [ press the SET button. See Selecting Menus and Settings (p. 73).
