Switching Between Shooting and Playback You can quickly switch between Shooting mode and Playback mode. This is convenient when you wish to shoot again after checking or deleting an image immediately after it is shot. Shooting Mode Playback Mode Turn the mode lever to (Playback) while pressing the release button (p. 23). z The camera switches to Playback mode, but the lens does not retract (the lens will retract if you turn the mode lever to (Playback) once more). Shooting Mode Playback Mode Remove the lens cap and press the shutter button halfway. Or turn the mode lever to (Rec.) while pressing the release button (p. 23). Setting the Date and Time When you turn on the camera the first time, and when the lithium cointype battery charge is low, the [Date/Time] menu appears. ‹ Setting the date and time settings does not cause the date/time stamp to appear on images.
