Using the Built-in Flash Use the flash according to the guidelines below. Mode Dial Flash is open Flash is closed The flash fires with every shot. The flash will fire automatically. Using the Built-in Flash

Setting the Red-eye Reduction Function
The red-eye reduction lamp fire when the flash is used in dark areas. This
reduces light reflecting back from the eyes and making them appear red.
