To send Call Home communications, complete the tasks in this section. SUMMARY STEPS 1. call-home test ["test-message"] profile name DETAILED STEPS Step 1 Command or Action call-home test ["test-message"] profile name Example: Router# call-home test profile profile1 Purpose Sends a test message to the specified destination profile. The user-defined test message text is optional, but must be enclosed in quotes (" ") if it contains spaces. If no user-defined message is configured, a default message is sent. Sending Call Home Alert Group Messages Manually You can use the call-home send command to manually send a specific alert group message.
