Chapter Chassis FRU Tab Power Tab The textual identification of the contact person and their contact information for this system, assigned by the administrator. System Name The name for the system, assigned by an administrator. One convention is to use the system's fully qualified domain name as the System Name. System Location The location of the system, assigned by an administrator. Apply Button Saves any changes made by the user in the System tab to memory. Refresh Button Refreshes all fields in the System tab. The Chassis FRU tab displays switch Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) information. This information includes the following items: Type The type of component. Description A description of the component, assigned by an administrator. Alias Name Name of the component, assigned by an administrator. Serial Num Component serial number Detail A button for each row that displays additional detail about the component. Additional details include: Part Number, Model, Version, Manufacturer Name, Product Name, Manufacturer Identification, and Manufactured Date.
