5-5 Most ISA Plug and Play boards allow the board to be set to one of two modes. The modes are most commonly referred to as "Plug and Play" and "Legacy" mode. If a board is set to "Legacy" mode, usually through a jumper setting on the board, or through configuration software that ships with the board, then the board is treated as though it was a normal ISA board. If adding an ISA Plug and Play board which is set to "Legacy" mode, then you must use "Step 2: Add or Remove Boards" to add the board to the system configuration. 3. View or Edit Details This step displays an overview of current configuration settings and installed hardware. From this screen, you can change your hardware resource settings and many other items, including: security features, ASR, IRC, and boot order. 4. Examine Required Switches This step displays the required switch and jumper settings for most ISA boards. Find the appropriate board's switch and jumper settings and adjust them to match the settings displayed on the screen. 5. Save and Exit Use this step to save the configuration update when you have made changes. Drive Array Configuration This option runs the Compaq Array Configuration Utility. This Utility allows you to view and make changes to a Compaq SMART-2 Array Controller's Configuration. Compaq ProLiant 1850R Setup and Installation Guide
