HP ProtectTools features The following table details the key features of HP ProtectTools modules: Module Key features HP ProtectTools Security Manager for Administrators ● The Security Manager setup wizard is used by administrators to set up and configure levels of security and security logon methods. ● Users can also use the setup wizard to configure their logon methods. ● Administrator tools are used to add and remove ProtectTools users and view user status. ● Backs up and restores security modules from installed HP ProtectTools modules. Credential Manager for HP ProtectTools ● Credential Manager acts as a personal password vault, streamlining the logon process with the Single Sign On feature, which automatically remembers and applies user credentials. ● Single Sign On also offers additional protection by requiring combinations of different security technologies, such as a Java™ Card and biometrics, for user authentication.
