xStack® DES-3500 Series Layer 2 Stackable Fast Ethernet Managed Switch User Manual To configure the Access Rule for Ethernet, open the Access Profile Table and click Modify for an Ethernet entry. This will open the following window: Figure 6- 73. Access Rule Table window (Ethernet) The user may search for the settings of a particular Access ID by entering that ID into the Access ID field above and clicking Find. The user may display all Access ID entries by clicking the View All Entry button. To remove a previously created rule, select it and click the button. To add a new Access Rule, click the Add button: Figure 6- 74. Access Rule Configuration window (Ethernet) To set the Access Rule for Ethernet, adjust the following parameters and click Apply. Parameters Description Profile ID Mode This is the identifier number for this profile set. Select Permit to specify that the Switch, according to any additional rule, forwards the packets that match the access profile added (see below). 103
