Section 4 - Configuration Auto Configuration (SLAAC/DHCPv6) This is a connection method where the ISP assigns your IPv6 address when your router requests one from the ISP's server. Some ISPs require you to make some settings on your side before your router can connect to the IPv6 Internet. DNS Type: Select either Obtain DNS server address automatically or Use the following DNS address. Primary DNS If you selected Use the following DNS address above, enter the Server: primary DNS server address. Secondary DNS If you selected Use the following DNS address above, enter the Server: secondary DNS server address. Enable DHCP- Enable or disable prefix delegation services. PD: LAN IPv6 If you disabled DHCP-PD, enter the LAN (local) IPv6 address for the Address: router. LAN IPv6 Link- Displays the router's LAN link-local address. Local Address: Enable Enable or disable the Automatic IPv6 Address Assignment feature. Automatic IPv6 Address Assignment: Enable Enable or disable DHCP-PD for other IPv6 routers connected to the Automatic LAN interface. DHCP-PD in LAN: Note: This feature requires a smaller subnet prefix than /64 (i.e. allowing for a larger address allocation), such as /63. Contact your ISP for more information.
