Chapter 1 Troubleshooting 3.5 Image Quality Troubleshooting Before commencing Image Troubleshooting, verify or fix the following general matters first. Verify the type and size of the print media installed meet the specifications. Yes If not Verify that the settings of the printer for the type and size of the print media are correct. Yes If not Reinstall the Fuser Assy, BTR Assy, PHD Assy and four TONER Cartridges to the printer. Yes Verify there is no foreign material, If not grooves or any type of damage on the paper transfer path. Yes Go to Image Troubleshooting. Reinstall the print media fall within the print media guidelines. Reset the printer settings. Remove the foreign materials and clean the paper trays and paper transfer path inside the printer. 1 - 107
