Syntax Parameters Default Command Mode Usage Information Example ip dhcp server None Not configured CONFIGURATION Use the ip dhcp server command to enter the DHCP mode required to enable DHCP server-assigned dynamic addresses on an interface. OS10(config)# ip dhcp server OS10(conf-dhcp)# Supported Releases 10.2.0E or later lease Configures a lease time for the IP addresses in a pool. Syntax Parameters lease {infinite | days [hours] [minutes]} ● infinite - Enter the keyword to configure a lease that never expires. ● days - Enter the number of lease days, from 0 to 31. ● hours - Enter the number of lease hours, from 0 to 23. ● minutes - Enter the number of lease minutes, from 0 to 59. Default Command Mode Usage Information Example 24 hours DHCP-POOL The no version of this command removes the lease configuration. OS10(conf-dhcp-Dell)# lease 2 5 10 Example (Infinite) Supported Releases OS10(conf-dhcp-Dell)# lease infinite 10.2.0E or later netbios-name-server address Configures a NetBIOS WINS server that is available to DHCP clients. Syntax Parameters netbios-name-server ip-address [address2...address8] ip-address - Enter the address of the NetBIOS WINS server. address2...address8 - (Optional) Enter additional server addresses. Default Command Mode Usage Information Not configured DHCP-POOL Configure up to eight NetBIOS WINS servers available to a Microsoft DHCP client, in order of preference.
