Supported Releases 10.2.0E or later lldp port-description-tlv advertise Specifies whether to advertise the interface description or the port id in the port description TLV. Syntax Parameters lldp port-description-tlv advertise [description | port-id] ● description - Advertise interface description. ● port-id - Advertise port id. Default Command Mode Usage Information Interface description is advertised. INTERFACE Determines whether to advertise the interface description or the port ID in the port description TLV. According to RFC 2863, the LLDPLocPortDesc and ifDescr object values must be identical. To be compliant with RFC 2863, use the port-id option with the lldp port-description-tlv advertise command. The port-id option in this command returns the same value (port ID) for both LLDPLocPortDesc and ifDescr objects. Example OS10(conf-if-eth1/1/1)# lldp port-description-tlv advertise description Supported Releases OS10(conf-if-eth1/1/1)# lldp port-description-tlv advertise port-id 10.4.3.0 or later lldp receive Enables or disables the LLDP packet reception on a specific interface. Syntax Parameters Default Command Mode Usage Information Example lldp receive None Not configured INTERFACE Enable LLDP globally on the system before using the lldp receive command. The no version of this command disables the reception of LLDP packets. OS10(conf-if-eth1/1/3)# lldp receive Supported Releases 10.2.0E or later lldp reinit Configures the delay time in seconds for LLDP to initialize on any interface. Syntax Parameters Default Command Mode lldp reinit seconds seconds - Enter the delay timer value in seconds, from 1 to 10. 2 seconds CONFIGURATION 490 Layer 2
