SNTP Authentication CLI Commands CLI Command Description sntp authenticate Set to require authentication for received Network Time Protocol (NTP) traffic from servers. sntp authentication- Defines an authentication key for SNTP. key number md5 value sntp trusted-key key-number Defines the authentication key used to authenticate the SNTP server. show sntp configuration Displays the SNTP configuration. The following is an example of the CLI commands: Console(config)# sntp authentication-key 8 md5 ClkKey Console(config)# sntp trusted-key 8 Console(config)# sntp authenticate Defining SNTP Servers The SNTP Servers page contains information for enabling SNTP servers, as well as adding new SNTP servers.
