Enabling Web Access (HTTP Server) 1 To prevent problems that may occur when using an HTTP proxy server, disable (uncheck) the proxy setting on the browser. a In Microsoft Internet Explorer, click Tools→Internet Options. b Click the Connections tab and then click LAN Settings to display the Local Area Network (LAN) Settings window. c Ensure that the Use a proxy server check box is cleared, and then click OK.
