The second processor must be the same type and frequency as the first processor. To take advantage of two processors, dual-processing systems must have multiprocessing operating systems, such as the Microsoft ® Windows NT® 4.0 operating system. The Dell Precision 610 mini tower systems offer advanced expansion subsystems that can support a mixture of traditional ISA expansion cards (called legacy cards), Plug and Play ISA expansion cards, PCI expansion cards, and a 2X AGP card. The operating system or the ISA Configuration Utility (ICU), included with the system, provides a means of avoiding resource conflicts that might arise from such an arrangement. 1-4 Dell Precision 610 Mini Tower Systems Service Manual
