bracket screws (4) 1.6-inch drive (front) To remove a hard-disk drive, follow these steps: If you are replacing more than one hard-disk drive in the bracket, do not fully tighten any of the screws that hold the drives in the bracket until all of the drives have been placed into the bracket. This prevents the bracket from compressing, which could make it difficult to insert additional drives. When you replace the hard-disk drive bracket, be sure that it is pushed fully into the system and snapped into position before you close the drive cage door (See Figure 4-13). To remove a hard-disk drive, follow these steps:
If you are replacing more than one hard-disk drive in the bracket, do not fully
tighten any of the screws that hold the drives in the bracket until all of the
drives have been placed into the bracket. This prevents the bracket from com-
pressing, which could make it difficult to insert additional drives.
When you replace the hard-disk drive bracket, be sure that it is pushed fully
into the system and snapped into position before you close the drive cage door
(See Figure 4-13).
When you are ready to replace the front bezel, be sure to fold the drive cage
door handle down to avoid interference with the front bezel.
