Installing the base cover

1 Loosen the three captive screws on the base cover. 2 Remove the four screws (M2x6) that secure the base cover to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly. 3 Pry the base cover starting from the top-left corner of the palm-rest and keyboard assembly. 4 Lift the base cover off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly. Installing the base cover If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
