Selecting a Printing Method Printing from Windows Check if there is a Windows Vista or XP print server on your network, and then use the suggestions below. Note: Only the recommended printing methods are introduced here. If no Windows Vista or XP print server exists Use TCP/IP printing via LPR. Check if there is a Windows Vista or XP print server on your network, and then use the
suggestions below.

If no Windows Vista or XP print server exists
Use TCP/IP printing via LPR. See “Installing Network Components on Your Computer”
on page 11.
