AppleTalk Items Use AppleTalk Printer Name Zone Name Entity Type Network Number Set Network Number for Manual Mode Descriptions Enable or Disable AppleTalk. Enter the name of the printer attached to the network interface (up to 32 characters). Enter the network zone name (up to 32 characters). To have the zone selected automatically, select Auto for the Network Number Set and enter an asterisk (*) in this text box. Displays the printer's entity type. Do not change the entity type unless "epson" appears. If "epson" appears, enter an entity type to match your printer. Select Auto or Manual. Usually Auto is recommended. You must make the following settings before setting up the printer for Internet Printing
in Windows.

Enable or Disable AppleTalk.
Printer Name
Enter the name of the printer attached to the network interface
(up to 32 characters).
Zone Name
Enter the network zone name (up to 32 characters). To have the

Entity Type
Displays the printer’s entity type. Do not change the entity type
unless “epson” appears. If “epson” appears, enter an entity type
to match your printer.
Network Number Set
