Network Interface Operation Status lights The indicator lights on the network interface provide you with important information on the operation of the network interface. Orange light indicates100Base-TX connection Flashes green when data is received The light on the left side indicates whether the network interface is connected to 10Base-T or 100Base-TX. The light is orange when the connection is 100Base-TX, green when the connection is 10Base-T. The light on the right side is a data transmission light that flashes when the host interface receives data. If the light on the left side is solid green and the light on the right side is off, the connection is disconnected. Network connector RJ-45 connector: This connector is used to connect an Ethernet cable to a network. Network Interface Operation
Status lights
The indicator lights on the network interface provide you with important information on
the operation of the network interface.
The light on the left side indicates whether the network interface is connected to 10Base-T
or 100Base-TX. The light is orange when the connection is 100Base-TX, green when the
connection is 10Base-T.
The light on the right side is a data transmission light that flashes when the host interface
receives data.
If the light on the left side is solid green and the light on the right side is off, the connection
is disconnected.
Network connector
RJ-45 connector: This connector is used to connect an Ethernet cable to a network. You
can use this cable for both 10Base-T and 100Base-TX.
