Selecting an International Character Set In addition to the eight character sets, you can select with DIP switches, you can select the five international character sets shown below using the ESC R software command. See the Command Summary in Chapter 9 for more information. The Appendix shows these character sets. To select the character set with international characters (character set 2), turn off DIP switch 1-6, 1-7, or l-8.
