Interface Specifications This section provides specifications for the DFX8000's parallel and serial interfaces. For specifications on optional interfaces, see their manuals. WARNING: The DFX-8000 has a parallel interface, a serial interface, and a slot for-an optional interface. To avoid damaging the printer, do not connect cables to the parallel interface and the optional interface at the same time. Also do not plug cables into all three interfaces at the same time. However, you can connect cables to the serial interface and the parallel interface or the serial interface and the optional interface at the same time. The following table provides the parallel interface connector pin assignments and describes their interface signals.
