4 Using Basic Camera Features Setting Image Quality and Color The image quality icons appear on the display panel as 4 Mode shown below. PhotoPC 750Z has several image quality (resolution) settings: four for color pictures and three for black and white pictures. Press the image quality button on top of the camera to cycle from one setting to the other. You must enable HyPict™ and Monochrome HyPict modes before you can use them. See page 1-10 in your User's Guide. Standard Produces color images at 640 × 480 pixels. The camera's memory and CompactFlash card hold approximately 178 pictures, but the image size is smaller and includes less detail when enlarged. This setting is good for pictures that are viewed on screen or on the Web. image quality button Fine Produces color images at 1280 × 960 pixels, with moderate compression. Your pictures include ample detail, and the camera's memory and CompactFlash card A hold approximately 54 pictures. B 4-1
