Diagnostics and Maintenance IMPORTANT When the revision number is changed after the drive is shipped from the factory, Fujitsu issues "Engineering Change Request/Notice" in which the new revision number is indicated. When the user changes the revision number, the user should update the revision label as described in item (2) after applying the modification. At shipment Rev. A2 Revising at field Rev. No special tools or test equipment are required. This manual does not describe the factory-level tools and test equipment. 6.2.6 Tests This disk drive can be tested in the following ways: • Initial seek operation check (See Subsection 6.3.1) • Operation test (See Subsection 6.3.2) • Diagnostic test (See Subsection 6.3.3) Figure 6.3 shows the flow of these tests. 6-10 C141-E133-02EN
