Description Spare part number For use only with HP Compaq 6535b computer models equipped with both WLAN and WWAN 488193-001 modules For use only with HP Compaq 6535b computer models equipped with a WLAN module but not a 488194-001 WWAN module For use only with HP Compaq 6530b computer models equipped with both WLAN and WWAN 486247-001 modules For use only with HP Compaq 6530b computer models equipped with a WLAN module but not a 486248-001 WWAN module Before removing the system board, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC Adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 48). 5. Remove the following: a. Hard drive (see Hard drive on page 54) b. Optical drive (see Optical drive on page 57) c. Keyboard (see Keyboard on page 63) d. Switch cover (see Switch cover on page 67) e. Fan (see Fan on page 68) f. Heat sink (see Heat sink on page 70) g. Display assembly (see Display assembly on page 76) h. Top cover (see Top cover on page 83) i. ExpressCard board (see ExpressCard board on page 88) j. Audio board (see Audio board on page 89) k. Speaker (see Speaker on page 93) l. Rear cover (see Rear cover on page 95) m.
