These values are for toll saving on remote access: the top figure is the number of rings after which your answering machine will answer if it has a new message, and the bottom is the number of rings after which it will answer if it doesn't have a new message. 7 You are now requested to record a greeting message. Click the record button, dictate your message, then click the stop button when you have finished. Click here to start recording your message. When you have finished dictating your greeting message, click here. 8 If you chose the Personal Answering Machine configuration in step 5, enter your name and password in the dialog box which appears. If you chose the Multi-user Answering Machine configuration in step 5, enter the first person's name and password in the dialog box which appears.
