2. Press the release latch (2), and then remove the drive from the drive bay (3). Removing a secondary 3.5 inch hard drive To remove the secondary 3.5 inch hard drive, use these procedures. Before removing the hard drive, follow these steps: 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 21). 2. Remove the access panel (see Access panel on page 21). 3. Remove the optical drive (see Optical drive on page 27). 4. Remove the front bezel (see Front bezel on page 22). Remove the hard drive: 1. Pull the release lever outward (1). 2. Lift the back of the drive (2), slide the drive forward, and then lift the drive up and out of the drive bay (3). 3.
