2. Using a screwdriver or similar tool, slide the sensor out of the slot in the rear of the chassis (2). To install the hood sensor, reverse the removal procedure. Option board To remove the option board, use these procedures. For a list of available option boards, see Computer major components on page 6. Before removing the option board, follow these steps: 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 21). 2. Remove the access panel (see Access panel on page 21). 3. Depending on model, remove the air duct (see Air duct on page 38. Remove the option board: 1. Remove the two Phillips screws (1) that secure the board to the system board. 2. Lift to disengage the board from the system board connector, and then remove the option board from the computer (2). Option board 41
