4 Working with HP Indigo ElectroInk Silver Working with HP Indigo ElectroInk Silver follows these steps: 1. Disabling the automatic color calibration. 2. Setting the press - Enabling double-hit printing on press for HP Indigo ElectroInk Silver on page 20 Disabling automatic color calibration It is recommended to disable the automatic color calibration feature. Go to Main Menu > Options > Print Preferences, and clear the Enable automatic color calibration option. If performing Full Color Calibration without silver, run the Auto Bias Wizard following every color calibration (important for ElectroInk Silver). Open the wizard from (CE level) Main Menu > Problem Solving > CE Applications. NOTE: See also Full color calibration on page 31. Silver color appearance and adjustments To check the appearance of the printed Silver color, you need to print a special job. If the output is satisfactory, there is no need for additional steps.
