2. In the relevant Color Strategy, add Silver ink to the Extra Output Inks list: a. Edit the required color strategy. b. In Input tab, click the plus (+) button under the Extra Output Inks table. c. In the dialog box that opens, select the Silver ink from the designer Ink Book, and click the Select button. The dialog box will close, and the Silver ink will appear in the Extra Output Inks table. d. Click Save and close to save changes. e. Repeat the steps above if you want to add more extra output inks. The extra output inks you add here will automatically be added as Keep in Output Exceptions in the Convert Spot Colors tab. This means that they will not be converted to the channels of the output proƭle. Make sure that the job contains the ink name and separation as it appears in the designer ink book. It should also match the ink name as deƭned in the press software. In case the Silver ink is named diƫerently on the press, it should be mapped to the correct ink in the Job Properties.
