Default SCSI Cable Configuration Duplexing Using Internal SCSI Channels Follow these steps to duplex the SCSI hard drives using internal SCSI channels (see Figure 3-8). 1. Remove Cable A connecting SCSI Channel B and the External SCSI port. Store the cable for future use. 2. Disconnect Cable C from the bottom connector on Backplane A and connect it to SCSI Channel B. 3. Plug a SCSI terminator into the bottom connector on Backplane A. NOTE Ensure the cables do not block airflow or obstruct the PCI card cage fan. 24
