The TFTPD Installer Using the TFTPD Installer The following procedure assumes that the Microsoft TFTPD service is not yet installed. If the service is already installed, the TFTPD Installer will behave slightly differently to what is described here. However, the messages and hints displayed by the TFTPD Installer should still enable you to use it easily. 1 Run the TFTPD Installer, either from the Start menu by select- ing Programs > Neoware > Image Manager > Tools > MS-TFTP Server Helper, or by navigating the file system: /Image_Manager_ 4.6/Server/Windows/TFTPDInstall.exe. 2 In the Path to Windows 2000/2003 Server files field, specify the path to the directory containing Windows 2000/2003 Server installation files (usually a subdirectory called I386). The TFTPD Installer will search this directory for a file named TFTPD.EX_ or TFTPD.EXE. 3 In the Path to TFTP Served files root folder field, specify the location of the directory that will contain the files to be served by the TFTP Server. This can either be a directory that is already defined, or you can enter a new directory name and check the Create folder box to create it automatically when you click the Apply button later. 294 Using the TFTPD Installer
