You can still take pictures and video clips, just use the optical viewfinder instead of the Image Display. If you are using Panorama shooting mode when you receive this message, the camera ends the current panoramic sequence, saves the images, and turns off the Image Display. If you continue to use Panorama mode after the Image Display turns off, the camera starts a new panoramic sequence. To use Live View, replace or recharge the battery or use the optional AC adapter. The optional memory card that is installed in the memory slot is not a supported memory card. Ensure that the memory card is the proper type for your camera. (See Storage on page 167.) The optional memory card that is installed needs to be formatted.
