If it becomes difficult to insert the battery into or remove the battery from the camera, the dock, or the quick recharger, discontinue use of the battery and replace it with a new one. Please recycle the old battery. Sleep Time-out for Power Conservation To conserve battery power, the Image Display turns off automatically if there is no button activity for 60 seconds, and the camera shuts down after 5 minutes. When the camera is in this "sleep" state, pressing any button will wake up the camera again.
