Replacing a power supply and filler panel Use this procedure to remove and replace a power supply. The Core Switch 2/64 and SAN Director 2/128 can continue operating during the replacement if at least one power supply continues operating. A minimum of two power supplies are recommended. NOTE: You do not need to notify the Core Switch 2/64 and SAN Director 2/128 of a hot-swap request for a power supply. The power supply bays are isolated; power supply filler panels are not required to ensure correct air flow. The left power connector provides power to the power supplies in slots #1 and #3, and the right power connector provides power to the power supplies in slots #2 and #4. The power connectors and the power supply slots are color-coded to identify which power connectors provide power to which power supply slots.
