IMPORTANT: HP highly recommends that you run the same firmware version on both CP cards (CP0 in slot 5 and CP1 in slot 6). Verifying optional software licenses Follow these steps to display optional features installed on your switch. 1. Log in to the switch as the admin user. 2. Issue the licenseShow command. This command displays the license keys that have been entered for the switch and the features enabled by those licenses. Enabling licensed features Licensed features, such as Fabric Watch, are already loaded onto the switch firmware, but you must enable them with a license key. After you have purchased these features, HP provides you with a key to unlock them. See HP StorageWorks features overview for information about optional licensed features. Follow these steps to enable a licensed feature. 1. Log in to the switch as admin. 2. At the command line enter the following command: licenseAdd "aaaBbbCcc" where aaaBbbCcc is the license key for a particular feature.
