If you want better performance, higher resolutions or more colors, you can install a pair of video memory modules to increase your available video memory to 2 MB. Detailed information about available video resolutions is given in chapter 6, Technical Information. Installing Video Memory Modules Static electricity can damage electronic components. Turn all equipment OFF. Don't let your clothes touch the accessory. To equalize the static electricity, rest the accessory bag on top of the power supply while you are removing the accessory from the bag. Handle the accessory as little as possible and with care. To install a pair of video memory modules on the system board, follow this procedure: 1 Disconnect the power supply cord and any connection to a telecommunications network. 2 Remove the computer's cover and power supply. Installing a Video Memory Upgrade
Your PC is supplied with 1 MB of video memory on the system board. If
you want better performance, higher resolutions or more colors, you
can install a pair of video memory modules to increase your available
video memory to 2 MB. Detailed information about available video
resolutions is given in chapter 6, Technical Information.
Installing Video Memory Modules
CAUTION
Static electricity can damage electronic components.
Turn all equipment OFF. Don’t let your clothes touch the accessory.
To equalize the static electricity, rest the accessory bag on top of the
power supply while you are removing the accessory from the bag.
Handle the accessory as little as possible and with care.
To install a pair of video memory modules on the system board, follow
this procedure:

Disconnect the power supply cord and any connection to a
telecommunications network.

Remove the computer’s cover and power supply. Refer to "Removing
the Cover", on page 20 and "Moving and Replacing the Power
Supply", on page 22.
