Access Panel 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for Disassembly on page 37). CAUTION: Before removing the computer access panel, ensure that the computer is turned off and that the power cord is disconnected from the electrical outlet. 2. Disconnect the power cord from the computer and from the power source (1). 3. Remove the two screws that secure the access panel to the computer chassis (2). 4. Slide the access panel back about 6 mm (1/4 inch), then rotate the top of the panel away from the chassis (pivot on the bottom) and lift it off the unit (3).
