The address to be translated is passed to the drive with the SEND DIAGNOSTIC command and the results are returned to the initiator by the RECEIVE DIAGNOSTICS RESULTS command. The drive will read the parameter list from the initiator and, if no errors are detected in the parameter list, GOOD Status will be returned. The data translation will be performed upon receipt of the RECEIVE DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS command.
