WRITE SAME (41) The Write Same command instructs the drive to write a single block of data transferred to the drive from the initiator to a number of sequential logical blocks. This command is useful for writing large data areas without sending all of the data over the SCSI bus. ! Logical Block Address specifies the address at which the write begins. The Number of Blocks specifies the number of contiguous blocks to be written. If the number is zero, all of the remaining blocks on the specified Logical Unit are written. !
